  土佐じゃー名刀として評判やったがやけど、龍馬の時代じゃ、もう刀は時代遅れじゃった。
  けんど、それが世界というもんぜよ
  It's Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki! Yeah, people know me as Sakamoto Ryoma's sword. I found myself famous at Tosa, but during the time of Ryoma, the swords were out of date. But, I guess that's what the world is!

Dear Master,

I had a talk with Ryoma.

Probably he's not thought any more of me than just some drunkard in the bar
that evening. A gun isn't preferable to a sword in all situations.

Ryoma will later be assassinated, his pistol failing to protect him. Older tools
beat new ones in some situations, yet you limit your options by not
investigating new things and sticking to your old ways.

Though I can't change being a sword I'm still gonna carve a path to a
dynamic future.

  政府権限での顕現だ。まあ、おれと同じ状態ってことだ
  A government-sanctioned manifestation. The same thing I am.

  【南海太郎朝尊】
  ふむ。どうやら、手間を掛けさせたようだ
  Hm. Well, thank you for your trouble.

  【南海太郎朝尊】
  しかし、この姿にしてもらったはいいが僕はまだ弱い。戦闘経験が少ないからね
  Still, despite my form, I am still weak. Inexperienced in combat and all that.

  そこで暫くは、後から付いて行って後方支援をさせてもらおうと思う
  So I think I will stick with a support role for a while.

  強さはなくても、刀剣博士としての知識は健在だ。役に立つと思うよ。まあ、よろしく頼む
  I may not be strong, but I do have plenty of knowledge to offer as an expert on Touken Danshi. might become handy. Anyway, a pleasure on my part.

  情報はある程度揃ってる。確認してくれ
  We've got a decent amount of intel so far. Give this a look.

  And uh...these guys are better than they look. There's still some hope in investigating this. Might even be able to reverse this altered timeline.

其の16『土佐勤王党の首魁』The Leader of the Tosa Royalists

Why don't we use their remains to place some traps as we go?

Besides, I have a sneaking suspicion that the enemy leader is trying to avoid me.

If this is true, that would mean the leader is in fact Yoshida Toyo.

In the proper timeline, Yoshida Toyo was unable to rein in the Tosa Royalists.

But what do you know. He now heads the Tosa Royalists and their tyrannical rule.

And in the legitimate history, Yoshida Toyo's life was ended by my master, Takechi Hanpeita.
