拓朗さん(香山)とたまてが歌ったthere is no other wayとか万次郎と歌ったpoemとかまさに和音階でめちゃ耳に残る。お歌最高だったから是非レコーディング残してほしい🥹

つかpacific overturesの曲って割と頭に残るな...🥹日本に関連する曲は使われてる音階から違う感じでメロディーも若干取りにくいんですけど一旦頭に入ると中毒的に回る😅(対比で西洋側の曲は普通の？音階とリズムな感じ)(please helloて曲は日本に開国を迫る西洋各国の特徴が曲調に反映されてて面白い)

ロンドン、今回押し活の一環じゃなきゃ多分一生行かなかった可能性あるけど来てみたら良いとこだった。いい意味で良い加減で個人の裁量に任されている感じが個人的にすごく良かった。あと地下鉄とか夜遅くまで走ってるのと夜安全なのも良い。劇場(座席)で飲めるのも最高。

⭐ STAGEY SHOW DAY - PACIFIC OVERTURES - MENIER CHOCOLATE FACTORY ⭐ This was an unexpected delight! ! ! ✨ I finaaaaaally got round to seeing the @MenChocFactory revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Pacific Overtures 😁 I had no knowledge of this show going into it but it weaved a fascinating tale, with some really inventive storytelling on display 🤔 Superb performances from all but standouts for me included the hilarious and imperious Saori Oda as Shogun/Madam, a very entertaining Jon Chew as the Reciter, a heartbreaking Takuro Ohno as Kayama and a surprising Joaquin Pedro Valdes as Manjiro 🌟 Important Sidenote - This is a fantastic show to showcase ESEA actors... But I also urge casting directors/creatives/producers in fully utilising this talent pool more, in shows where race isn't a factor in the storytelling. There is still so much more progress that needs to be done here and it's just willfully ignorant not to, at this point 🙏 I'm a big fan of many of the actors in the cast and also was introduced to some new faves too! 😊 This is an absolutely gorgeous production, with beautiful set design by Paul Farnsworth and costume design by Ayako Maeda. It looks EXPENSIVE... So slick and inventive.....The boats.... The hats! ! !... So good lol 😘👌 Don't miss your chance to see this gem of a production, tick this little-seen Sondheim treat off your list, you won't regret it 💖 X x x

舞台に立つ役者さんとして、そうやって生き物のように変化していくのは当たり前なのかもしれないけど、とりあえず私は拓朗さんで初めて経験したことなので、純粋に凄いなと感動したし、そういうストイックさとか真摯さとか、美しいなと思ったよ。美しい。

全部私の妄想だけど。あれ、なんか今日は真面目な香山だなとか、今日は随分フリーだなとか、わぁなんかめっちゃ自然な反応！とか、今日は随分かっこいいなとか、可愛いなとか、もう本当に色んな香山を拝ませて頂いた。毎回、今日の香山が一番好きかもと思ったり。結局全部好きなんだけど！

12月〜2月で通わせて頂く中、拓朗さんの変化を観させて頂けたのは本当に貴重だった。例えばそれは環境への慣れとか、役への慣れとか、役者同士の呼吸の慣れとか、英語への慣れとか、そういったこともあるだろうし、多分何度も演じる中で拓朗さん自身の解釈も生きもののように変化していったのかなと。

香山が万次郎を必死に止めようとするところ、一昨日までは万次郎に「やばいって！ストップ！」みたいなジェスチャーが強かったけど、昨日の回ではアメリカ側に「なんでもないですよ～～えへへ～」みたいな笑顔を向ける(伝われ！)ところがコミカルさが増して違った味があり、どっちも面白いと思いました
