Admittedly, I picked them mainly because all their covers were illustrated by my favourite mangaka - Yuki Urushibara (Mushishi, Suiiki).営繕師 in particular bears resemblance to Mushishi's somber, yet peaceful brand of melancholia, perfect for a rainy day

All 3 settle into the horror genre, with the former 2 being compilations of lighter-hearted horror tales told in an anthology form, whereas the latter-a recipient of the 24th Japan Horror Novel-sends chills down the spine and guarantees nightmares for the faint of heart
