A successful demolition of the barrage could likely be achieved by placing explosives near the base of the piers, or if you had control of the structure, inside the drainage galleries that run inside the crest of the gravity dam section. pic.twitter.com/UDAcBbKHwu

イリノイ大学アーバナ・シャンペーン校の工学部教授で爆発物の専門家であるニック・グルマック氏は、ダムの図と破壊された基礎の最新の画像に基づいて、「通路の内部爆発以外の方法で被害を説明できるとは考え難い」と述べた。

2022年のウクライナ軍の攻撃は道路橋のコーナー部分のみ破壊されており、ダム本体に影響は無い。2022年11月にロシア軍がヘルソン撤退時にダム道路部分を爆破した際も、ダム本体に影響は無かった。2022年6月に道路橋のコーナー部分が崩落したが、ダム本体に影響は無い。 pic.twitter.com/Vv9BFCj8uV

しかし水位低下後に今週公開された動画からは、水門だけでなく、コンクリート基礎の上部も破壊されたことが判明している。
