昔、京都丹後間人に白南風（しらばえ）荘という宿舎があって、うちの家族やいとこの家族と海水浴に行った。わたしが大受けしたのが宿舎目の前にある露出した横穴式石室で、夜家庭用花火をしに外に出て、暗いのに石室に喜んで走っていったわたしを「どこ行くのこの子」と見ていた

しらばえ荘はいま更地になっていて、Google earthで見た例の古墳（大成古墳群）も、あの頃は石舞台なみに大きく感じたけど見てみたらそんなでもなく、宿舎から海への道にあんなに石室がいっぱいあったのも分からなかった

なるほど。先祖代々額田王のお墓を守ってきたお家がおられるのか。古墳の歌碑には文武天皇の時代に築造された、とあるしなぁ。文武天皇が許可したのかも
