【維新の記憶】Era 1 Memory of the Meiji Restoration

戊辰戦争は函館を終結とし、京都の鳥羽を始点とした一連の戦争である。
途中、幕府が重視した日光を要する宇都宮と会津藩の本拠会津の地を舞台に戦闘が行われた。

As the Boshin War came to a close, a minor conflict in Toba, Kyoto, led to a series of battles.
Key conflicts broke out in Utsunomiya, a transport hub linked to Nikko, and Aizu

【江戸の記憶】Era 2 Memory of Edo

江戸時代終焉の地は鳥羽である。
鳥羽の前は大江戸であり、その前は元禄の平安な時代が続く。
江戸時代はじまりの場所は皮肉にも江戸ではなく、大阪であった。

The Edo Period came to a close in Toba, where peace had reigned for two hundred and fifty years.
Ironically enough, this period of peace began nod in Edo, in Osaka.

【織豊の記憶】Era 3 Memory of Shokuho

安土桃山ともいうこの時代は、織田、豊臣の時代でもある。
織田が安土に城を構えてから、越前の宗教勢力を破り、本能寺の変後、関ヶ原の合戦にて終わる。

The Azuchi-Momoyama period was the age of two of Japan's great unifiers, Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
Oda was ultimately betrayed at Honnouji, while the Toyotomi clan passed from power at the Battle of Sekigahara.

【戦国の記憶】Era 4 Memory of Sengoku

戦国時代とは室町幕府が力を失う応仁の乱がはじまる御霊合戦から、
織田信長による支配を印象付けた長篠の合戦までを言う。

The famed Warring States period of Japanese history is said to have begun with the Onin War and the Muromachi shogunate's fall from the halls of power. The period would continue until Oda Nobunaga's victory at the Battle of Nagashino.

【武家の記憶】Era 5 Memory of Samurai

室町、鎌倉の時代は武家支配の時代である。
義経死後の阿津賀志山の戦いで奥州征伐が終わり、鎌倉幕府が始まる。
鎌倉支配は承久の乱で貴族を破ることではっきりしたが、
元寇で弱体化、元弘の乱で鎌倉時代は終わって室町時代へ移った。

The Kamakura shogunate came in to power at the Battle of Atsukashiyama. Despite successfully consolidating power in the Jokyu War, the shogunate was weakened by Mongol invasions and eventually overthrown in the Genko war.

【池田屋の記憶】Era 6 Memory of Ikedaya

幕末の京都は陰謀と謀議のうずまく街である。
時代が変わる前触れとして騒がしくも華々しいこの古都で、日本を揺るがす大事件が起きようとしている。

As the Tokugawa shogunate fell from power, Kyoto drowned in intrigue and conspiracy.
Amongst this political strife ,a single event threatened to overturn Japanese society.

6-1『京都・市中』

馬で駆けることができませんので

Note ghat you can't fight on horseback,
as the is narrower than regular battlefields.

The battles here will be fought at night.
Touken capable of stealth can hide in the darkness to evade ranged combat!

検非違使の登場により、歴史修正主義者は物量に任せた歴史改変がほぼ不可能になった。
追い詰められた歴史修正主義者達は思想や場所の近いもので連合を組み、
新しい時代にアタックをかけることで事態を打開しようとしている。

With the appearance of the Justicar, those who believe in altering history can no longer simply force their changes through sheer numbers. As they rapidly lose ground, those among them with similar ideals and who are close in proximity have united, seeking to break ground with an attack on this new era.

池田屋の裏は長州藩の藩邸であり、新撰組は裏庭を抑える形で襲撃を行ったが、
歴史修正主義者は池田屋に近接する三条大橋とその通りに兵力を伏せて襲撃を阻止しようとしていた。

Behind the Ikedaya is a mansion owned by the Choshu Domain. The Shinsengumi had attacked via the backed, but the Revisionists are intent on stopping this by placing their forces at nearby Sanjo Bridge and adjacent streets.

6-3『京都・池田屋二階』

【マップ突入後】

池田屋に到着したがすでに歴史修正主義者は展開を終了しているようだ。倒すつもりだったのは、敵も同じか。
まあいい。ここが決戦ということだろう。敵を倒す。それだけだ。

We've reached Ikedaya, but the Revisionists appear to be fully deployed in the area.
It seems the enemy was just as intent on destroying us. But no matter. This is where we make our stand and defeat the enemy. Simple as that.

6-4『京都・池田屋一階』

Fighting along the river bed will not involve
night or indoor battles, so the Touken will be able to fight at full strength.

and preserve the legitimate history.

【延享の記憶】Era 7 Memory of Enkyou

延享4年 熊本藩主細川宗孝が旗本に突然背後から斬りつけられ絶命する事件が起きた。
若いゆえにまだ世継ぎがおらず、細川家は断絶の危機に陥ったが、
この窮地を救ったのは、たまたまそこに居合わせた仙台藩主伊達宗村だった。

Four years into the Enkyo era, Hosokawa Munetaka, the head of Kumamoto Clan, was slashed from behind by a shogun vassal And killed. The young chief had no successor, leaving his clan on the verge of collapse.
Their unlikely savior was the head of Sendai Clan, Date Munemura. He was at the scene by chance and averted disaster with a spontaneous intervention.

【青野ヶ原の記憶】Era 8 Memory of Aonohara

慶長五年は一つの時代の区切りであった。
この年、西軍と東軍に分かれて戦国の終わりを告げる戦いが起きたのである。
古戦場の名を引いて青野原の戦いとも書かれた戦いは、
歴史の重要な分岐点であり、時間遡行軍の重点攻撃目標となっていた。

The fifth year of the Keicho era was a great turning point in history,
in which the battle of Sekigahara closed the page on the Sengoku period.
A stage such as this could hardly be ignored by the History Retrograde Army,
who will seek to sway this long-past conflict between eastern and western Japan.

8-3『美濃・青野原』期間限定開放

【マップ突入前】

新たな合戦場予定地にて
敵に想定外の動きが発生。
急遽、調査のための特別開放を行います。
The enemy has made unexpected movements at what was scheduled to be a new battlefield.
A hasty limited-time access will be available for investigation.

新たな合戦場「青野原」が、
範囲を限定して開放されました。
かなり強力な敵が観測されています。
A new battlefield, "Aonohara" , can now be accessed as a limited area.
The strength of the enemy force is considerable.

調査は強制ではありません。
編成と、お守りなどの装備確認は入念
に行い、出陣はくれぐれも慎重に。
また、無理な行軍は禁物です。
The survey is not obligated.
If you do choose to sortie, be sure to carefully consider your team and check you
equipment, such as Omamori. Also, do not attempt to advance over the limit.

低空を飛ぶ巨大な影とおびただしい足跡。
そして、死者。
もはや東軍も、西軍もなく。歴史改変ですらない。
ただ無秩序な破壊があった。

敵は既に時間跳躍をした後のようだ。
調査が許されている範囲もここまで。
部隊は撤退した。

An immense shadow passing at low altitude, and ominously, many footprints. 
And then there were the dead. 
Neither the eastern nor the western army remained. Not even a sign of historical revision. 
There just was an act of chaotic destruction.

The enemy appears to have already traveled to another time. 
This was the extent of investigation allowed. The team started heading back.

【地下に眠る千両箱】Underground Treasure Chest

大阪城の地下には本物の大阪城、豊臣家が作った大阪城がある。
そこに、昭和の陸軍が工場を作り、今ではよく分からない何かになっていた。
時の政府はかつての大阪城を調査することに決定し刀剣とともに審神者なるものを送り出す。

Underneath Osaka Castle lies the real castle, constructed by the Toyotomi clan.
The old army had constructed a factory there, which has now become something… No one really knows.
The government ordered swords and the Saniwa be sent in to investigate the former Osaka Castle.

【戦力拡充計画】Power Boost Scheme

戦いは膠着状態に陥っているものの、いつまた新たな敵の攻勢がはじまるとも限らない。
時の政府は訓練場を用意して、審神者なる者を訓練する。
訓練には人参がいると、発掘された古代の文献に従い、いくつかの報酬が用意された。

The war is now at standstill, yet no one knows when another attack might come.
The Government of the Time prepared facilities to train those who would become the Saniwa.
As a way to entice them, several rewards were prepared, according to unearthed documents.

【秘宝の里】Hamlet of Riches

※改修が入ったタイミングで変化している

どこかの時代、どこかの場所にあるという濃い霧に包まれた里。
そこは様々な報酬を手に入れることができる不思議な里だった。

「秘境 腕試の里 予行練習」

どこかの時代、どこかの場所にあるという濃い霧に包まれた里。
そこは刀剣男士の腕試しができる場所になっていた。

「秘宝の里 ～楽器集めの段～」

濃い霧に包まれた里から、玉と楽器を持ち帰り様々な報酬を入手せよ。

「秘宝の里 ～花集めの段～」Hamlet of Riches - Flower Gathering

濃い霧に包まれた里にて花集めを行い、楽器や様々な報酬を入手せよ。

【江戸城潜入調査】Edo Castle Investigation

徳川家康の居城であり、江戸幕府の政庁となった江戸城を、
時間遡行軍が狙っていることが判明した。
時の政府はより詳しい情報を得るため、審神者に江戸城の調査を命じた。

It's become clear that the Revisionists are after Edo Castle, the place of power in Edo and former residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu. The Government of the Time ordered the Saniwa to investigate the castle to obtain information.
